Position Overview

As a Member Service Consultant (MSC), you will play an integral role in delivering a superior experience to both new and existing members at our Orange, CA location. This universal role combines customer service, sales, and teller responsibilities, allowing you to assist with a wide range of financial needs.

Your key focus will be to identify members' financial goals, recommend personalized products and services, and support them in achieving their objectives. From account openings and inquiries to transactions and referrals, this role demands multitasking and a commitment to excellence.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist members with account openings, transactions, and general inquiries.
  • Provide expertise on credit union products and services to meet members' financial needs.
  • Accurately handle cash transactions and perform teller duties as needed.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate financial products through qualified referrals.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while delivering exceptional service.
  • Ensure member information is accurate, up-to-date, and organized.

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range: $19.64 - $24.55/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Compensation is determined by experience, education, and internal equity during the offer process.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: At least 1 year in sales, cash handling, and customer service (financial industry experience preferred).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with consumer loan products and banking services.
  • Skills: Strong communication, advisory, and problem-solving skills. Proficient with computer systems, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Attributes: A positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
